About Willowemoc Creek Two and a half hours northwest of New York City, Willowemoc Creek is located in the Catskill Mountains in New York State. Althought mayflies and stoneflies inhabit the Willow, caddis are the predominate hatch. Wild brook trout can be caught in the narrow upper reaches of the Willow whereas halfway down you will catch a mix of brookies and browns. The lower stretches above its confluence with the Beaverkill River boasts excellent dry fly fishing for mostly browns. What's Included
